Château Teyssier, France
At Château Teyssier, the wine cellar extends over two levels, its walls entirely lined with Modulorack shelves. These sliding drawers, designed to store wines in their original cases, form a regular grid pattern from the floor up to the mezzanine. A bookcase ladder provides access to the upper shelves; in the centre, a long table and leather armchairs invite visitors to enjoy a wine tasting. The design is by Touton Architectes, a Bordeaux-based firm with extensive experience in wine cellars, where storage becomes architecture.
Wine crate storage
The Modulorack system consists of sliding wood and steel shelves to store your wines in their original crates.
